🚔 Proactive policing operation in Ealing leads to arrest👏

Officers from Ealing Neighbourhoods and Town Centre Team were out on patrol around Ealing Broadway targeting crime and theft from motor vehicles, following information and concerns raised by local residents 🎯
 

Plain clothes officers – PCs Verta, Rice, Ahsan and Blanchard – were deployed into the area, where proactive patrols quickly delivered results.
 

During the operation, PCs Verta and Rice identified two damaged vehicles in Springbridge Car Park 🚗💥. They immediately linked in with CCTV support from PCSO Nesbitt, who secured a clear image of a suspected offender and circulated it to officers across Ealing. That swift communication proved crucial.
 

Shortly afterwards, Sgt Love, PCSO Nalder and PC Stack, who were on patrol in the area, recognised the individual from the circulated image and made a prompt arrest in West Ealing 👮‍♂️. On arrest, officers recovered a number of suspected stolen items, including cards and jewellery ⛓️. Further enquiries have linked the suspect to four additional thefts from motor vehicles across the area.

The investigation progressed quickly, with PCs Rice and Verta continuing enquiries to identify further victims. The suspect has since been charged and will appear in court.
 

PC Waite and PC Rice have also progressed a Criminal Behaviour Order, with a hearing scheduled.
 

Officers will continue high-visibility patrols and targeted operations in the area. We know there are further suspects involved, and work is ongoing to identify and apprehend them.
